Anno 1404 is a strategy game, which lets you take a journey to the Orient of the 15th Century, where you can establish a colony and make it prosper into a great urban sprawl that lacks nothing.

But you must go step by step, because in Anno 1404 you start with basic materials, and from the exploitation of natural resources you can start to build houses, buildings, roads, temples, bars and a long etc, all sustained by a stable economy accessible by your colonials. In Anno 1404 you have hundreds of products and buildings inspired by the Orient.

Anno 1404 also has two gaming modes, Campaign, in which you have to direct a crusade to save the sick Emperor, and Continuous Play, more relaxed, in which you start from zero and bit by bit you prosper.

With excellent graphics, Anno 1404 takes you to a time and place that`s not usual in this genre. The only thing you`ll miss in Anno 1404 is the chance to play multiplayer. Everything else, both the story, graphics and sounds, in Anno 1404 are worth playing for.
